About Houston Neuroscience Brain Center

About Us

The Houston Neuroscience Brain Center specializes in identifying the root causes of symptoms and creating individualized plans to help clients achieve their goals. Our comprehensive reports include BrainMaps that highlight areas of abnormal activity, along with a tailored protocol and recommended training plan. To support client progress, we offer neurofeedback training, transcranial photobiomodulation (red light therapy), and a range of talk therapy services.

About-us

We use innovative, research-backed technology that works with each client’s brainwaves to encourage healthier, more efficient patterns while reducing less helpful ones. This brain training process can lessen unwanted symptoms, enhance focus and emotional regulation, and support overall performance—helping clients reach their personal goals.

Our Diagnostic Philosophy & Core Principles

At HNBC, our evaluation process is grounded in DSM-aligned diagnostic standards and a structured clinical framework designed to go beyond symptom checklists. We actively work to rule out neurological and medical contributors so that findings reflect the individual’s underlying neurophysiology. Many of the people we support present with treatment-resistant or refractory symptoms, and we tailor our evaluations accordingly.

Our assessment includes EEG/qEEG-informed evaluation with neurologist oversight, ensuring advanced data is interpreted within a clinical context. Throughout this process, licensed clinicians synthesize testing, clinical interview, and specialist collaboration — and diagnosis is provided by licensed clinicians but not made in isolation.

We partner with neurologists, psychiatrists, and professionals in functional medicine to enrich clinical insight and care planning. While we strive to offer data-driven guidance and individualized care strategies, we do not promise specific outcomes; we provide careful evaluation and informed care.
